Quest is a group for lesbian and gay Catholics.
Quest has a network of local groups across the country which meet regularly for Mass, discussion and social events. It publishes a quarterly Bulletin to members, with news of local and national interest.
Quest holds an annual weekend conference (usually in July) with speakers on topical subjects, a special dinner and disco, and a programme of liturgical and social events. The Annual General Meeting is also held during the conference.
This year’s conference is on 23–25 July 2010 at the University of Lancaster. The theme will be Made in the Image of God: the Normality of Difference. You can now download the Conference Timetable, Joining Instructions and Travel and Parking Directions.
Quest operates Quest Linkline The Helpline for Lesbian and Gay Catholics, which is a Member of The Helplines Association. Freephone 0808 808 0234.
Quest communicates and co-operates with all those who influence the lives of our members, especially the Church, the government, other statutory and voluntary bodies and the media, to urge that the needs and views of lesbian and gay Catholics be considered. Quest believes that the Church could do more to provide welcome and support to lesbian and gay Catholics, both nationally and within parishes
All lesbians and gay men, and others who support our aims, are welcome to come to our meetings and to join Quest. This site has details of local groups and also a membership form.
Quest t-shirts are now available – download the order form as a PDF document.
